The customer service is useless

The customer service is useless. Any attempt to correct an error (on their part) “can’t be guaranteed”. Literally ANY other business can handle issues with competency and friendliness but not Aero. Also, when disputed through a 3rd party payment method (since Aero can’t deal) , heads up… the seller chose to close the case “in my favor” by refunding my for the $5 socks - not my actual whole order that was never received. Total joke. Poor customer service. And honestly, a scam.

Do NOT order from online Aeropostale

I placed an order with Aeropostale online on the 23rd of August 2022. I received the shipping notice the next day and found that the mailing address is incorrect. Apparently, when I used PayPal as a payment source, Aeropostale pulls the billing and mailing information from that and not what I manually entered. I have called them repeatedly on trying to get them to contact UPS to void the shipment and have it return to sender. The only response I have gotten repeatedly is that I have to contact UPS and give them the tracking number to have them cancel and return to sender. I called UPS as well (no worries UPS, you will get a complaint as well) and I was told by UPS that I have to contact the shipper (Aeropostale) to have them void the shipment and have them request for return to sender. This has been going on for 3 days now and I am tired of this going back and forth nonsense. Aeropostale need to get their business in order when it comes to how they run their website, their customer service line, and all around teach their employees on how to process things correctly. After being told by the customer that they have talked to UPS 3-4 times to try to resolve this and being told that it has to be done on Aeropostale side to cancel shipment but totally ignoring it is horrible. Their process is horrible and never ever are they going to get a cent from me. I have worked in customer service field for as long as I remember and I would never, EVER, give my customers the run around like they have to me. My kids love the store and will be sadden to find that we will no longer go there.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT TAHJ H. VERY RUDE

I PLACED MY ORDER ON THE 14TH OF JULY AND PAID OVERNIGHT SHIPPING SINCE THIS IS FOR A BIRTHDAY GIFT. I GOT THEN A EMAIL A FEW HOURS WHEN I PLACED THE ORDER THAT IT HAS BEEN SHIPPED AND WAS GIVEN A TRACKING NUMBER. WHEN I CLICK ON THE TRACKING NO. ON THEIR WEBSITE IT SAID THE ESTIMATED DELIVERY IS ON THE 20TH. SO I WENT THROUGH THEIR CHAT AND WAS CHATTING WITH A CUSTOMER SUPPORT TAHJ H. I ASKED HIM WHY MY ORDER WOULD ARRIVE ON THE 20TH AND THAT WOULD MEAN 4 BUSINESS DAYS( EXCLUDING SAT/SUN) FOR IT TO ARRIVE WHEN I CHOSE OVERNIGHT SHIPPING. HE SAID ITS PROCESSED WITHIN 2 BUSINESS DAYS BUT IT WILL ARRIVE BEFORE THE 19TH. BUT THE ORDER ALREADY SHIPPED THE SAME DAY BUT HE COULD NOT ANSWER WHY IT WOULD TAKE ON THE 20TH TO ARRIVE. I PAID OVERNIGHT SHIPPING SO IT WOULD ARRIVE ASAP. HE ENDED OUR CHAT. I HAVE THE SCRIPT WITH ME AND I AM VERY MAD AT THIS CUSTOMER SUPPORT AS HE HAS NO MANNERS AND IS VERY RUDE. HE SHOULD NOT BE WORKING IN A CUSTOMER SUPPORT IF HE COULD NOT ADDRESS THE CONCERN OF THE CUSTOMER!!!!

Absolutely garbage service

Absolutely garbage service. Ordered placed on June 10th and it never delivered. Contacted customer service on 17th June, they said package lost in transit and never departed a middle warehouse location. Requested refund and since then they said refund would go thru approval process and would take 3-5 business days to get reflected in card. Its been more than 25 days, still no update on refund. Absolutely fraud website.

Very disappointed with customer service

I made an order for my daughters school clothes on 6/11/22 as soon as i submitted the payment I noticed the shipping address was wrong. I called Right away to make sure they send it to my billing address and was told to allow an hour for update. Today 6/15/22 received notification that my Package was delivered but to the wrong address. I called To dispute this and was told they was not able to update the address. This is unacceptable and believe they should not be doing online orders. We spend our hard earned money and we should not be having this inconvenience. Bad way of running this. This needs to change. I don't think i will be ordering from this company again

Refunds

Be careful when returning any of your purchases. I recently returned my full order which consisted of 4 items but was only refunded for one. It's been constant calls and online chats with still no resolution. Absolutely disgusted, like really you open the return package and conveniently only process one item.

Bad customer service and shipping

So I got a package y pay like 25$ for express shipping I spent lik 265$ total and I got my package the next 2 days because I'm going on vacation and when I get my package and open it there's only a T-shirt and I'm like is this a joke or what?, I'm trying to explain everything and they are telling me they did send my 14 items but no and they don't want to replace my items not even a refund like nothing

The lady that worked in the Wichita…

The lady that worked in the Wichita store was super friendly and helpful. However I bought a almost $40 pair of leggings for my daughter that had a hole in the seam of the butt area and we live 2 hours round trip from the mall. So I contacted customer service to see if we could fix this some way (like a shipping label) so I don’t have to drive 2 hours just to return them but NOPE! Customer service said I have to return them to the store where they were purchased.

Worst customer service

Do not buy on line or phone order. I ordered two pairs of jeans on the phone on 2/27/2022. They shipped to wrong address. Tracked it and found out it said return to sender. The customer service agent said she would ship out a new order. I called today because I had not received order to find out it wasn't shipped. First call 3O minutes. Second call today over an hour. Told they could not ship it until order was returned. It was but has to go through a process. I will receive a credit once process is done. I still wanted the pants so now I can re order them if I want. They screw up and do nothing about it. With all three calls I wasted 2 hours of my time.

Delayed shipment and rude staff

I had placed an order in nov 2021 amounting to $53.59 on the international website however have not received it till date, i. E. 26 jan 2022. The customer care staff is uncooperative and condescending and extremely rude on live chat! Would never recommend buying their products online as they take months to provide refund and never deliver the promised products. Completely shattered with my first ever transaction on their website...

I have put my credit card in to order 3 times, once it went to a white screen and then went back a screen but knew all my information to enter. I see a lot of complaint but I have had a good experience before now. I have not received any confirmation on my order so do not know if it went through or if it charged me twice or more.
